THE FAMOUS HATCHBACK AMONG YOUNGSTERS

Honda Jazz is now a thing from the past. Honda City Hatchback is a new generation that has taken the best qualities of its predecessor and added even more surprises for auto enthusiasts. Is it a step up in terms of the user experience? Discover the solution by reading the Honda City Hatchback review.

THE OVERVIEW OF THE HONDA CITY HACTHBACK

To replace the obsolete Jazz versions, Honda introduced the City Hatchback. Like previous variations in the same product line, it still has a strong engine and a fluid transmission.

PERFROMANCE

A new 1.5-liter DOHC 16-valve i-VTEC engine with direct injection powers this compact 5-seater. Comparing the figures to the previous model, not much has changed, but the tune is considerably more aggressive now and the torque is arriving sooner. Additionally, fuel efficiency is increased, although only by a few percentage points.

The transmission and handling of the Honda City Hatchback engine are carried over from its predecessor. However, because the CVT always maintains the power at an optimum level, the performance is more responsive.

Compared to rivals in the same segment, City Hatch offers superior handling ability. Consistent acceleration is made possible by a torsion beam at the back and MacPherson struts up front. When accelerated, it can travel up to 80 km/h on highways and accelerate to 25 km/h in a matter of seconds.

The City is among the most potent hatchbacks, with a maximum output of 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The only drawback is that it operates smoothly, save from some obtrusive noises.

The 1.5 litre aspirated 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine in the Honda City Hatchback has demonstrated consistent performance since the previous model in terms of fuel consumption.

SAFETY FEATURES

In addition to a smooth driving experience, the G-CON body construction provides the best stability when passing through the City. Honda claims that the occupants are better protected in a crash because to this design.

The 3-point ELR belts for all seats and the ISOFIX brackets are two more benefits worth mentioning. With six airbags, these features provide the highest level of protection, even while travelling with children.

In addition, the manufacturer offers a number of extra features to help users, such as automatic door locks, emergency stop signals, driver's knee supports, and hill-start assistance.
